Monique Melsen performing "Pomme, Pomme, Pomme" ("Apple, Apple, Apple"), Luxembourg's entry at the 1971 Eurovision Song Contest. An admittedly silly, but still incredibly cute and catchy song with clever, playful lyrics, this one was considered as a favorite prior to the contest - in the end, the juries apparently decided that a little silliness goes a long way. However, despite its eventual 13th place, the song became a hit in the French-speaking countries as a children's song and it's still well-known as such today.
